Police dispatch received a call that a Black SUV was doing donuts in a church parking lot during a heavy snowstorm. Client passed police in a Black SUV moments after the call was placed with dispatch. Client was stopped based on the vehicle description. After denying the alleged conduct, police failed to issue client a citation. Police forwarded charges to the city prosecutor’s office and client was charged with Reckless Driving. A Failure to Appear Warrant was issued when client did not show up to the arraignment date, and a criminal charge of Failure to Appear was added to the client’s charges. Negotiations with the prosecutor resulted in dismissals of all charges.
